Are there any other ways to submit a Loan Payment Protection claim than online?
Yes. A CUNA Mutual Group Claims Representative can assist you through the entire process by phone. Call 844-707-4964 Monday through Friday between 9:00am - 7:00pm EST to get started.
If I have added Payment Protection to multiple loans, do I need to file a claim for each one?
No. CUNA Mutual Group will utilize the information you provide on an initial claim to determine that you have protection on additional loans.
When I submit a Loan Payment Protection claim, should I stop making payments on my covered loan(s)?
No. We advise that you continue making all necessary payments until you are notified of your claim's approval by CUNA Mutual Group. Upon notification of claim approval, you can cease making payments on loans covered by Payment Protection. Be sure to stop or adjust any automatic transfers, including internal transfers, ACH, and external transfers.
How can I check on the status of a Loan Payment Protection claim I've already filed?
Check your claims status by contacting CUNA Mutual at 800-621-6323. You may be transferred to your CUNA Mutual claims professional.
